What’s been going on at PPR
- Literacy Through Hip Hop – We are excited to announce our project and collaborative effort with “Literacy Through Hip Hop” which delivers literacy programming using hip hop culture to youth across the Greater Toronto Area. Visit www.lthh.org for more information.
- Partnership with George Brown College to create web-based tools to explore how violence impacts learning: The Office of Literacy and Essential Skills has funded Parkdale Project Read and George Brown College for a two-year project that will create tools for community-based programs and community colleges identify ways to better support students who have experienced violence and barriers to their learning.
